Speaking is an identity and it differs from person to person because each has a slang and talks different. So, language may influence identity and culture.  Language is a uniquely human gift, central to our experience of being human.  Appreciating its role in constructing our mental lives brings us one step  closer to understanding the very nature of humanity.
English is the most commonly used language throughout the world; when people with different languages come together they commonly use English to communicate.
Today, more than 80% of all the information in the world’s computers is in English. Learning. English will open Job Prospects and increase standard of living.

      

     

IMPRESSIONS:

The Department of English is one of the pioneering departments of the college which started functioning along with college in the year 1981. The department gives much importance to learner centred methods than teacher centred methods. Modern Teaching methods like Using Virtual lab, Power Point Presentations ,Study Projects, Class Room Seminars, Question Answer Sessions, Group discussion on current trends are always encouraged and practiced by the Department.

The department is responsible in conducting programmes on behalf of Women Empowerment cell to enhance our students by empowering them self-confidence and the required skills to enable them to become independent and contribute to family and society.
